RSP author Matt Waldman joins the Baltimore Beatdown Podcast for an extended conversation about Lamar Jackson, his progression, the Ravens’ offense, and Jackson’s cohorts of the 2018 NFL Draft class.
I’m a huge Baltimore Ravens’ fan. I can’t help it. Art Modell stole my team from my city in the mid-1990s but the soul of that team—tough, physical football in all three phases of the game—is still the team that I grew to love.
So as much as I want the replacement team in Cleveland to succeed, the team-building mentality and expression of football on the field that rings the home chord inside of me is the organization in Baltimore.
I despite what Modell did. So much so, if the word Baltimore Ravens comes up in conversation around my wife, she will leave the room muttering obscenities because it’s the one story she never wants to hear me retell ever again.
So, if you’re a Raven fan or curious about Lamar Jackson, check out this week’s Baltimore Beatdown podcast. I think you’ll find it worthwhile.
