I’m a fan of Samin Nosrat’s new Netflix show Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat. Here she is demonstrating how to use salt. She earned the James Beard award for her cookbook with the same name.
Christophe Courteau took this shot a split-second before he got bum-rushed by this silverback gorilla drunk on bamboo stems and feeling threatened by another male gorilla standing behind Courteau. The gorilla threw Courteau aside to get at the other gorilla. Other than a minor scar on his forehead, the gorilla did not injure Courteau.
Beautiful and magnificent animal if you ask me. But yeah, that stance and the look on his face doesn’t look good for the photographer. I have to imagine that’s how I’d look if Chad Kelly walked into my house uninvited and took a seat on my couch at 1:30 in the morning.
I’ll take Wilkins as my top dunk artist because his in-game dunks on opponents and the power he displayed in competitions were peerless.
