I had the pleasure of studying Mahomes’ performance during Kansas City’s 2017 preseason finale and the rookie’s first NFL start in the season finale against the Broncos. This analysis was the basis of a deeper conversation that Ryan, Chris, and I had about quarterback development, misnomers about Mahomes, what his growth trajectory could look like, and my statistical outlook for his 2018 season.
