Reddick, a high-upside edge defender in the 2017 NFL Draft, earns a look in this RSP Film Room episHode with Dan Hatman and Matt Waldman.
Scouting Academy Founder Dan Hatman began his pro football career in scouting with the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. That experience comes to play during our film session on Reddick, a projected pick within the first 10-15 spots of the 2017 NFL Draft. Hatman presents 10 plays in this RSP Film Room episode that highlights not only the current positives and negatives of the linebacker’s game but also notes areas that would have required further investigation by NFL teams. Hatman also ties together how the NFL Combine, Pro Days, and team visits figure into the evaluation process with these plays.
As always, it’s a pleasure to have Hatman present this experienced point of view on the NFL process as well as discuss a little organizational philosophy within the context of what Reddick offers as a prospect. Along the way, Hatman drops some nuggets about Eagles pass rusher Brandon Graham and his development as well as coaching in the college and NFL game. It’s a 45-minute episode well worth your time.
