Man Matt! I was looking forward to hearing your opinion on Chase Garber. I wanted to see where he sat in your tiers. He’s not someone that I see talked about at all, but I like the way he handles pressure and can really make throws in a lot of trash.
Was curious if you saw some of the same things.

Can’t wait to find out who your #1 QB is. Being an RSP subscriber for many years, I think I have a pretty good guess.
Also, Wonderlic was basically a speed reading and comprehension test, so I agree no relevancy to football activities. That being said, I do think GPA matters. Almost every Power 5, First or Second Team Academic All American (with NFL caliber athleticism and arm strength) over the past 10 years has been either a good starter or quality backup. I think the relevant correlation between the GPA and NFL success is more so about a guy’s: (1) professionalism (ability to manage multiple life issues at once); (2) adaptability (master new ideas and topics quickly); and (3) “likeabilty” (coaches and teammates want to work with people who are perceived as “smart” and “don’t need a ton of explanations”).
EJ Perry
He’s the guy, right?
My guesses are (in order):
EJ Perry (Brown); Eric Barriere (Eastern Washington); and Dustin Crum (Kent State).
I’d say Desmond Ridder, but I think Matt mentioned him in the piece, and he also said that his QB1 wasn’t mentioned.
I do like Ridder, quite a bit.
And will be looking to get him in most of my rook drafts, especially SF
