Footballguys.com senior staff writer Cecil Lammey joins Matt Waldman’s RSP Cast for drill-by-drill coverage of the skill performers from Day Three of the Senior Bowl’s North practice.
Cecil Lammey invited me to my first Senior Bowl 10 years ago and we’ve been going to the all-star game together ever since. Cecil and I examined the practice tape of Day Three’s North roster practice and provided our thoughts in order of the drills that involved the skill position players.
Some of the items we covered:
- The receiver who had trouble catching the ball this week.
- The small-school receiver who showed he belonged and the one that didn’t.
- Which running backs fared the best in pass protection drills?
- Which quarterback made the best throw of the session?
- Who had continuous difficulty with handling snaps?
- Of the two slot receivers earning buzz in Mobile, which is the real deal and which one still has significant questions about his game?
